Citi and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw signed a cooperation agreement

Citi in Poland is expanding its cooperation with the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. As part of the partnership, the Faculty will receive financial support for the development of educational activities. Citi employees will provide a practical aspect to the curriculum through lectures and training and will support students in choosing a career path.

This is a new stage in the long-term partnership between Citi Solutions Center Poland and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. Thanks to the agreement, the Faculty of Economic Sciences will receive funding for its educational goals. Citi employees - volunteers will share their experience with students during lectures, training, and case studies. They will also take part in scientific and mentoring projects.

- Both institutions have already been realizing joint projects for education. Citi experts have given guest lectures and deliver courses such as Introduction to Anti-Money Laundering, Applied Finance and Introduction to Quantitative Finance for students of the Faculty. The partnership is an excellent platform for both entities to exchange information and experiences and support students in their intellectual and professional development, says Gabriela Grotkowska, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor. Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw.

- For years, we have been cooperating with universities to help them equip young people with the competences of the future, and to show students development opportunities. We are glad that together with the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw, we can share knowledge based on real business challenges and mentoring from experts in areas that will equip them with competence advantage for the future, says Iwona Dudzińska, Citi Solutions Center Poland Head.
