Transaction banking of Citi Handlowy topped the prestigious ranking of the Euromoney magazine again. In 2021, the votes of its clients elevated Citi Handlowy to the first place in both categories: “Market Leader” and “Best Service”.

Our position in the ranking shows how our clients perceive our solutions in transaction banking, and supporting their business activity is our top priority,” says Jim Foley, a member of the bank’s management board supervising Treasury and Trade Solutions at Citi Handlowy. “The trust of our clients, as demonstrated in the ranking and on a daily basis, inspires us to develop the offer so that it responds to the changing challenges faced by companies, to support their digitization and foreign expansion as well as to boost their competitive edge.”
In response to the digital needs of its corporate clients, Citi Handlowy develops and introduces advanced technology solutions. This year alone, the bank launched a tool for controlling payment status, Citi Payment Insights. The bank also introduced the Citi Payment Outlier Detection service, an automated, AI-based solution that operates in real time and enables smart verification of outgoing payments as well as helps identify transactions that depart from the pattern and, thus, reduces the risk of fraud or error.
Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2021 is a survey conducted among CFOs, treasurers and managers responsible for finances at companies around the world in order to indicate which institutions, in their opinion, offer the best services of transaction banking. A total of over 27,000 votes were cast in the ranking globally.
