The economy is returning to a recovery path, though not without turbulences regarding inflation level and commodity prices. On November 4th, the Financial Markets and Corporate Banking Sector at Citi Handlowy hosted an online conference “Metals Market Outlook Into 2022.”
During the meeting, Piotr Kalisz, Chief Economist at Citi Handlowy, presented in detail the macroeconomic analyses for Poland and for the global economy in the context of the growing inflation and its outlooks. He also discussed the GDP growth forecasts for Poland for the coming quarters and the impact of disturbances in supply chains. In the second part of the event, Tracy Liao, Commodities Strategist, Citi Research, presented the outlooks for the metals market, and in particular the prices of copper, aluminum, nickel and steel. The meeting was moderated by Piotr Łaś, Financial Risk Management Expert at Citi Handlowy.
