BP, one of the biggest petrochemical companies worldwide and one of the leading companies in the Polish fuel market, executed an agreement on launching a new co-branding credit card with Citi Handlowy. The card offers its users a program of benefits available at BP gas stations.
Owing to the cooperation, clients of BP will gain access to a new credit card, issued based on the so-called “selfie”. It will be really easy to apply for the card – all you need to do is send a photo of yourself taken in a selfie mode. Citi Handlowy, the leading company in the card products market in Poland, introduced this innovative biometrics solution this year.

The new credit card will be issued without an annual fee. It will be linked to a benefit program, under which clients can gain up to PLN 240 a year to fill up their car for free and access seasonal special offers at BP gas stations, among others. Clients will also receive a free package of services – Citi Alerts notifications and up to 56 days interest-free, as well as discounts under the Citi Specials program for automotive products and services. They will also have access to pre-sales of tickets to the concerts organized by Live Nation and discounts up to 10% at more than 150 restaurants in Poland.
Cooperation with Citi Handlowy is a part of BP’s strategy to offer its clients innovative solutions, which allow them to easily take advantage of a program of benefits and services beyond the company’s standard offer. The new card is introduced as a continuation of the partnership cooperation between BP and Citi Handlowy. In the past, the companies issued a BP Payback card together.
